Every year libraries around the world celebrate the birthday of French gastronome Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin and National Library Week with an edible book fest. Sweet Briar’s Edible Book Fest for 2013 will not be the normal contest of entries that must be edible and related to a book. We will return to our normal celebration in 2014.
This year, the library staff invites you to come to the library and enjoy cupcakes made by library staff and volunteers that relate to books. We thank you for your understanding as we undergo construction of new library space and the renovation and expansion of Sweet Briar’s libraries.
